Main goal of the project
The main goal of the project is establishing and development of an enterprise, which main activity is oriented to the production of bed linen and interior textiles, with economic activity code 13.92 "Manufacture of made-up textile goods, except apparel" - achieving a positive effect on the sustainability of the newly created enterprise.
The main goal of the project proposal corresponds to the goal,which was set in the procedure BG16RFOP002-2.024 "Promotion of Entrepreneurship" for creation and development of new enterprises in priority sectors of the National Strategy for Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises 2014-2020 and more precisely in sector C13 "Manufacture of textiles and textile products, except apparel"
Objectives of the project
- Acquisition and commissioning of 4 pieces of specialized fixed asset equipment - automatic embroidery machine with computer control - 1; Single-needle sewing machine for straight double-sided crucible - 1 piece; 4-terminal overlog - 1, textile printing line consisting of sublimation printer and thermal transfer calender -1 piece;
- Purchase of specialized embroidery software
- Creating 1 website with an e-shop
- Conducting marketing research and analysis and marketing strategy for the implementation of the entrepreneurial idea
- Creating 3 stable jobs, through sustainable employment, including hiring one person with permanent disabilities. Increasing the income of the individuals and improving their quality of life; promoting equal opportunities for all, and adhering the principle of accessibility (prevention of any discrimination on disability bases).
- Achieving a social effect by hiring 1 person with permanent disabilities for a minimum of 6 months.
- Achieving growth of the net sales revenues for the period of the next 3 years after the end of the project (period N - N + 2) by implementing and marketing the entrepreneurial idea - at least 96.78% of the grant under the project.
- Achieving the "Weighted value of EBITDA" for the period for the next 3 years after the end of the project (period N - N + 2) - at least 15.1% of the grant amount under the project.
- Creation of goods with direct application in one of the thematic areas of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization and more precisely "New technologies in the creative and recreational industries", (related to the production of goods and equipment with direct application for preservation of cultural heritage , design and development of rural and eco-tourism)
Project activities
- Activity for realization on the market of the entrepreneurial idea - the activity will be carried out by hiring qualified staff - 8 people; by renting a room for 12 months; by purchasing 4 fixed assets; by purchasing DNA 1 piece; by creating a website; as well as through the development of marketing analysis and research and marketing strategy for the realization of the entrepreneurial idea.
- Activity for visualization of the project - The activity will be implemented by purchasing 2 signboards, 5 stickers, 1 publication in a branch magazine / newspaper, as well as by making 1000 leaflets for the project and its implementation activities.
The amount of the total value of the project is BGN 241,216.00, as 80% of the Operational Program "Innovation and Competitiveness", co - financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (European Regional Development Fund: BGN 164,026.88; National funding: BGN 28,945.92)
Achieved results
- 8 employment contracts have been signed with qualified staff in the project team.
- A contract has been signed and a room has been rented for a period of 12 months.
- 2 procedures with public invitation have been made under Art. 51 ZUSESIF for external contractor.
- Purchased and put into operation are 4 pieces of specialized fixed assets equipment - automatic embroidery machine with computer control - 1 piece; Single-needle sewing machine for straight double-sided crucible - 1 piece; 4-terminal overlog - 1 piece; Textile printing line consisting of sublimation printer and thermal transfer calender -1 piece.
- Purchased and introduced specialized embroidery software (1 DNA).
- 1 website with an e-shop has been created.
- Marketing research and analysis and marketing strategy for the implementation of the entrepreneurial idea have been conducted.
- One person with permanent disabilities was hired for the period of 12 months.
- Goods have been created, with direct application in one of the thematic areas of the Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialization and more precisely with direct application for preservation of the cultural heritage, design and development of rural and eco-tourism.
Publicity and information of the project activities is ensured - 2 signboards, 5 stickers are purchased, 1 publication is made in a branch magazine / Our home /, 1000 leaflets for the project and the activities for its realization are made; All participants / recipients of the service are informed about the use of OPIC funding co-financed by the ERDF; Each document related to the implementation of the project states that the financial support of OP "Innovation and Competitiveness" 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union through the ERDF.
MARY TOP DESIGN Ltd. was established in 2017, but did not operate until the start of activity in 2019, focused on the production of bed linen and interior textiles.
To realize a new product line consisting of small series and single pieces of bed linen and interior textiles personalized and decorated with folk embroidery uses two main technologies - 3D printing and multicolor embroidery.
The company was established with the financial support -80% of the Operational Program "Innovation and Competitiveness" 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
